From 3 to 7 October, the Syndicat Mixte du Beaujolais welcomed two assessors from the Geoparks network as part of the revalidation of the ‘UNESCO Global Geopark’ label.
During their four days in the field, accompanied by the Geopark's technical team, the two experts appointed by UNESCO were able to meet many local players, associations, tourist offices, winegrowers, guides, as well as the founding members of the ‘Friends of the Beaujolais Geopark’ association and elected representatives involved in the process.
Their evaluation mission enabled them to observe, at the various sites, all the actions and projects carried out as part of the Geopark since the label was validated in 2018.
