It was built before 1183 and was part of the 2nd castle complex where the lords of Oingt resided. It is 18 metres high and has a museum on its 3 floors. Panorama. Navigation chart. Panoramic glasses.
In the 12th century, Oingt was a fortress. On its three floors, the building houses a museum containing fossils, carved stones, ceramics, documents and photos from the Middle Ages to the present day. from the terrace, you can enjoy a grandiose panorama of the Azergues valley, the Beaujolais, the Lyonnais, the Monts d'Or, the Alps and the Bugey.
